تکرارکنندهٔ آشکارساز سوئیچ/مجاورتی D5037D یک ماژول مناسب برای کاربردهایی است که به سطح ایمنی SIL 2 در سامانههای مرتبط با ایمنی در صنایع پرخطر نیاز دارند. این واحد میتواند برای سوئیچها یا آشکارسازهای مجاورتی که در منطقهٔ خطرناک قرار دارند پیکربندی شود و وضعیت ورودی را به یک ترانزیستور کلکتور باز در منطقهٔ امن منتقل میکند.
مدار تشخیص خطای قابل انتخاب برای حسگرهای مجاورتی یا سوئیچهایی که به مقاومت انتهای خط مجهز هستند نیز در دسترس است. در صورت نیاز، خروجی را میتوان معکوس هم کرد.
